Our journey of faith and discovery

Welcome to Restoring the Faith Ministries. Learn about our purpose, our approach to biblical teaching, and how we aim to inspire and guide you on your spiritual journey. This ministry site is a work in progress so if you find this content helpful, your patience is requested as we strive to rebuild the walls of the ecclesia, generally known as the church, "stone by stone."

Your people will rebuild what has long been in ruins, building again on the old foundations. You will be known as the people who rebuilt the walls, who restored the ruined houses. Isaiah 58:12

Our inspiration and mission

The genesis of Restoring the Faith Ministries arose from the sobering observation that the Christian church is failing to meet people's deep spiritual needs. This ministry was birthed to address this challenge which extends to peoples of different cultures and various age-ranges. Our vision is to restore the foundational truths of the faith and help rebuild people's lives through proper biblical understanding and practical application. We believe in strengthening the spiritual roots upon which individuals and communities can grow and thrive.

Jesus said: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." John 10:10

Who we serve and what you will gain

Our content is designed for anyone interested in investigating spiritual matters for themselves and seeking a fresh perspective from traditional church teachings. We hope visitors gain a deeper, more personal understanding of the scriptures and practical insights to navigate life's challenges. Our goal is to empower you with knowledge and wisdom that makes it possible for you to worship God, in spirit and in truth.

Our unique approach to biblical learning

We employ the same tried and true approach to studying the Bible called "hermeneutics" in order to "exegete" or properly interpret what the scriptures teach. However, one important difference is that we interpret the Bible primarily from a Hebraic perspective rather than from a Greek perspective. What this means is that since the sixty-six books of today's Bible were written long ago mostly by Hebrew men who possessed an Eastern way of understanding God's world, the Bible is best interpreted and viewed utilizing that same mindset. This contrasts with the Western mindset of the Greek worldview through which the church today bases most of her teachings. It's like one person perceiving the world wearing rose colored glasses versus another person perceiving the world wearing amber colored glasses. This distinction is profound and can result in dramatic differences in interpreting and applying the scriptures. We think this difference in methodology provides a more authentic understanding of the scriptures. This approach aims to impart the timeless truths contained in both the Old and New Testaments in a way that is accessible and uniquely practical.

More than knowledge: Living the faith

What you learn here is not just for the sake of gaining biblical knowledge to feed your mind, but for imparting wisdom to feed your heart. We strive to demonstrate practical ways to love God and love our neighbor as we love ourselves, translating spiritual insights into tangible actions in your daily life.
